Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a method of removing dents, dings, hail damage and creases from your car without painting, grinding or putty — saving the original finish of your vehicle.
PDR involves "massaging" the dent out and restoring your car
to its former glory using specialist tools.
PDR is the art of remvoing minor dents, door dings and hail damage on the metal panels of autombiles without the use of fillers or paint (the traditional menthod). It's a process by which the dent is worked out from the back side by trained professionals using special tools.
The results are nothing short of amazing, and best of all, you'll have a blemish-free vehicle which has been restored to its original factory finish. PDR has taken the industry by storm. It is THE preferred choice for insurance companies and is conveniently available to the public through Dent Whizz.
Do you do touch-ups or paint?
No, Dent Whizz does what we know best: PDR.
How do you remove the dents?
We use special tools and access the dents from the back side of the door or panel to "massage" the dents out.
How long does it take to remove a dent?
Depending on the damage/vehicle, it could take 20 min to one hour maximum, much less time than it takes for body shop repair!
New and used car dealerships, rental fleet services and car auctions use PDF to remove dings, creases and hail damage. This improves the appearance and resale value of their inventory.
The insurance industry has monitored the results of such repairs and deemed PDF an acceptable and convenient repair procedure
— making PDR better in quality than conventional methods when performed by a qualified company such as Dent Whizz.
Won't PDR ruin the paint?
No. Since the 1980s the paint used on cars is very flexible. Car parts are often urethane based (making them similar to plastic). This means we can remove the dent with no impact to the
paint finish.
What dents can you remove?
We can remove dents as large as a basketball or as small as the head of a pin. The location and depth of a dent is more important
in PDR than the size of the dent.
What type of vehicles do you repair?
Cars, trucks and motorcyles.
Can you repair conker dents and hail dents from roofs
or bonnets?
More commonly in Europe and America, hail storms can cover a car in 50-200 dings in one storm. Manufacturers use PDR where hail storms have damaged factory cars — bringing cars back to their original condition.
